At the end of march 2024 the new teams client will be rolled out.
The rollout means that all the users who don’t have the new Teams client installed yet, will receive the new Teams client.
After 14 days the classic Teams Client will be uninstalled.
Timeline
Based on the settings that you or your administrator applied, the rollout will differ.

Users who face issues or don’t meet the requirements, will still be able to access classic Teams until 1st of Juli 2024.
This will give you more time to address these issues and migrate to new Teams client piecefully.
